TOM  RADAR

TOM RADAR (lead singer of RADARFIELD):
I like to be creative. I start writing songs when many years ago and continued song writing when I was playing the guitar in different music bands. The current main project is RADARFIELD.
RADARFIELD (Voc/Git, Bass, Synth, Drums) was founded in 2010 in Berlin, Germany transitioned to a drum machine and a electronic bass in 2011. The remaining duo (Tom and Marcus) offering a unique blend of Darkwave, Electronica, Synthpop and New Wave.
Since the beginning of the project RADARFIELD, the song themes became different from the bands we were playing before and became more sophisticated but also the music, Tom sings in English (except "SCHMERZEN, 2024, a joint-project with TOXIC INDUSTRY (DYLAN PHOENIX aka KABAL APOKALYSE, Italy), mostly mysteriously with poetic lyrics - dense and vivid. Some songs outline a dark world in the here and now as well as in the near future.
The sounds are a journey through Darkwave, Synthwave, Gothic, and Alternative vibes, creating an unforgettable musical experience. RADARFIELD has published a EP, a CD and some singles on Bandcamp, Spotify etc, like „VAMPIRE DIARY“, „MEMORY IMPAIRMENTS“, „METROPOLITAN AREA“ and more than 10 videos on YouTube.
Somesongs were played on local radio stations but also around the world (UK, BE, AUS, USA, Greece, Cyprus, Peru, etc.). RADARFIELD`s songs are also on a number of CD compilations of e.g. Sonic Seducer, Orkus! and Dark Spy Magazine.
In 2024, TOM wrote the lyrics of „The Man With White Wings“.
He wanted to make a dark song with the guitar chords he wrote.
TOM knew, that the song was a little different from the concept of RADARFIELD.
Then, TOM heard the dark song „Like Shadows in the Rain“ of DYLAN PHOENIX and he really liked the song. At the end of 2024, TOM asked DYLAN PHOENIX, if he would like to make another joint-project with RADARFIELD/TOM RADAR.
TOM sent his guitar version to DYLAN PHOENIX and he agreed to join this project. TOM was very happy to have DYLAN PHOENIX, as a great composer of dark music, on board.
In the end, „THE MAN WITH WHITE WINGS“ became much different from the music of RADARFIELD.
Therefore, this song was published under the brand „TOM RADAR“ and „DYLAN PHOENIX“. „THE MAN WITH WHITE WINGS“ is the first joint-project of TOM RADAR (vocals, guitar and lyrics) and DYLAN PHOENIX (music and choir). The the song has a cool, dark style, and a deep gothic feel with a lot of emotions.
